I feel shame at being an Ohioan.

I feel shame at being an Ohioan.

The Age of Reason has now officially come to a close.

The Age of Magicks has now begun.

Fact is fiction. Fiction is fact.

Dan:

I still can't believe with even the GOP Governor, both GOP state Senators, the Ohio Attorney General, and almost every major newspaper all saying to vote no on issue 1, it passed in a landslide. Are we just living in a fantasy world that Ohio is a good place to live?

Ohio has been and always will be a relatively rural redneck state.

Issue 1 was there purely to pull out a the Republican vote for president.

It calls out to the ignorant undead believing fearful masses because that is pretty much what American culture consists of.

Regardless, Mac's at 6?

kelmeister:

I would like to meet for Mac's. I'm worried about Pee-pants, as he's incredibly dispondent. Also, I think we should all chainsmoke while there, because we still can. At least I think we can. Probably not.

Dan:

I don't believe (actually I do) that they threw this gay marriage thing out there to scare the bible thumpers into voting. In the CNN exit polls, people listed 'moral values' as the most important issue. More than health care, Iraq, the economy...Once again, the Republicans rely on fear to win. Well played, Mr. Rove.

Emcee Pee-Pants?

A, O, way to go Ohio...

Not your fault, tho.

The Age of Reason is ending? When did it start? Talk about a two-hump chump of an Age....

And don't be ashamed of being in Ohio. Ohio is just a reflection of the rest of the nation. And it's not like you're the part of Ohio (or the nation) that voted this way. We need you there to help change things from the inside out.

Wish I could join you all for a cocktail. Might need one today.
