Computer OS Apathy.

So Apple released yet another version of the Mac operating system. Microsoft will be doing so next year with yet another Windows OS.

And all I have to say is that my conversion is complete.

Five years ago I would have cared about such things. These days? Meh.

I am now completely computer-apathetic. Yup. I'm officially in IT now.

There is no reason to care about computing platforms anymore.

All it has to do is get the job at hand done.

Speaking of IT, would you consider being intereviewed by me for an article?

Erik:

I remember when win95, win98 and win2k were big deals. CompUSA and Fry's would have huge releases at midnite, people would stand in line, festivities would transpire. Yeah, nowadays we barely bat an eye.

I'm testing Tiger now on my work machine. My beta copy of Virex seemed to be kill it, but now I'm downloading the current release, which may or may not work.

Antivirus is kind of important, isn't it?

On a Mac? Meh.

I think the vendors use people's fear on the Mac more than anything. I mean you need to be logged in as Admin or root to do any real damage.

You do create a standard acct for yourself no?
