It has been 2 1/2 months since the new renters moved in and replaced the fratards and I thought things were going well.
It has been quite and clean and totally as it should be.
Well. That all changed last night.
Now the girls and queenie boy who moved in to the fratard side as quiet as hell. However, the jocktards that moved into the side than was always vacant decided to spend the evening screaming and yell and binge drinking and doing something on their porch that sounded like construction demolition.
I swear. I have the fan on to drown out the noise but nothing was going to drown out what soundling like a sledge hammer against metal or vaguely like a front door being crushed in.
And every fucking time they made the noise they started chanting and screaming.
You could fucking hear the goddamn alcohol in their screams. It was 20 year old jocktard binge drinking fueled complete lack of responsibility.
We are talking total jocktard and jocktard bitch full blown drunken assholism.
Oh Ohio State football Saturdays. I so love thee.
Mr. and Mrs. B. left here and it was already really loud but it just kept getting louder and by 11:30 was just horrible.
And the thing is... it had to be worse for the people across the street and farther down the block.
I called the cops around 11:40 but I have no idea if they ever came or not. While looking out the windows I did see the old woman from like 10 houses down walk up and words were exchanged. They didn't quiet down immediately but by about 12:15 I couldn't really hear anything. Of course, I was so tired. 12:30 is hours past my normal bedtime.
Other than that, Giga's potroast was really good, Mr. B. and I shot the shit about Infinite Crisis and other geekdom, Mrs. B. reminded me (though unintentionally) why my life 1000 times better now than in 1994 but simultaneously just as unhappy, and I got Mr. B. all ganked to see Spidebabe, which we've set the Tivo to snag the next time it is on.
All in all I have to thank the jocktards. They reminded me why I have to sell this house.
After 2 1/2 months of quiet I had gotten comfortable again.
