I was reading some preacher shit today and within the article was the golden gem that defines a good part of christianity that underlies the evil that exists today.

And humans love to open their bank accounts and rectums to be fucked over in the name of god.
Beware all people who seek out roles as political or religious leaders masked under the lies of "a calling".
They want power and control and if you are a woman than want your uterus so they can have it from day one when you get pregnant.

Goes all the way back to Constantine. Sometimes "Revelation" is easily filed under "Political Necessity." But realistically, God, like science, isn't a democracy. If you believe 100% in the notion of God as Patriarch, and are fundamentalist in scope, there's just no room for democracy in there. What are you going to do-vote God out?

Nah, I was talking about the guy they named Istanbul after, before it was Istanbul and after it was Byzantium. Apparently he "saw" the Christian symbol that looks like a P and an X making sweet love in the sky and "heard" a voice saying "IN THIS SIGN WILL YOU CONQUER." Which of course had NOTHING to do with the fact that the empire, for all the purges, was now overwhelmingly swinging in the direction of Christianity. Nope. All God, baby, all God. Because conquering others for the purpose of extending your hegemony is what Jesus was all about.

Yeah, they did a pretty good job of convincing me to ally with Xenu. Because if it's a question of being on the side of a megalomaniacal alien who's using humanity as a prison for the souls of his brainwashed enemies that are bumming all of us out, or on the side of Tom Cruise and John Travolta, it's a pretty easy choice, isn't it?
