Clarett makes 1st appearance in court on robbery charges (Blade)
Man it must suck to have had such potential, even if it was at something like running and catching ball, and see it totally and utterly collapse.
As a college freshman, Mr. Clarett scored the winning, overtime touchdown in Ohio State's 2003 Fiesta Bowl national championship game over the University of Miami (Fla.). He then tried unsuccessfully to jump directly into the National Football League draft, a move blocked by the courts at so early a stage in his college career.Amid allegations of special treatment and NCAA investigations, he never returned to the team or the school. He was eventually drafted last year by the Denver Broncos, but he was cut from the team without playing a regular season game.
Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel said Sunday he had talked with Mr. Clarett about a move to NFL Europe.
There's an NFL Europe???

I still find it vaguely creepy that I took communion for 3 years from this priest when I was a christian of the worshipper of cathol variety.
I mean communion is creepy enough let alone having a possible murdering priest's fingers near your mouth.
These days, if I'm going to have a priest's fingers in my mouth, I at least expect a bj or a Black Fire Convoy or something.

Wow, do you remember that case? I vaguely remember that the nuns at our school were (understandably) flipping out that one of them had been murdered.

I didn't start attending Ladyfield until 1981 so I was year late.

It's also pretty sad that with all of his talent and potential, Clarett will amount to little more than a Trivial Pursuit answer in 10 years.
