Dear The Nation magazine.
I would like to personally thank you for turning the minor curiosity of my wanting to see a few issues of a liberal magazine into a bullshit corporate whoring crapfest.
Thank you oh so much for selling my name and address out to every goddamn fucking democrat and liberal organization that exists. Like I would fucking give money to a politician, any politician, outside of a region I live in!!!
No doubt if I'd tried the same thing with The National Review or The Weekly Standard I'd now be getting the EXACT SHAME SHIT but for Republicans candidates and conservative causes!!!
Whores out to turn tricks wherever and whenever you can! That's all any you are.

Really, you should just occasionally check the better liberal weblogs for that kind of stuff. The Nation and the New Republic just blow nowadays.

Quite frankly all political maganizes/newspapers/talking heads disgust me to no end. Hell. ALl 24 hour news media disgust me too!
There is absolutely nothing remotely worthwhile in any of it anymore.
On the political side you have either Side A stating one thing and Side B opposing that or vice-versa with absolutely no ability to actually accomplish anything worthwhile and the television news channels are nothing more than vultures desperate to draw some stupid viewer to their tripe in the hopes they can sell more advertising dollars.
I just want the Rapture to happen so badly.

CNN and MSNBC now have the battling bleach blondes in the evening, they seem like they're trying to outdo each other on shallow stories. When they're not interviewing the 3rd cousin twice removed of that missing girl in Aruba, they're asking the familes of the people who died in the coal mine "How does it feel?"
Jon Stewart had a great comment the other night about all the coverage "Can't you just leave these people the f**k alone? How do you think it feels when something shi**y happens like that? Unless you think you're going to get some different angle than 'this is a painful time', then we don't need a story about it."
Oh, and the magazines suck too.

Actually I think the Aruba girl has been hiding out in John and Patsy Ramsey's basement. I think that's what I read while I was standing in line at the Giant Eagle the other night.
Or wait. Maybe Aruba girl just lost 20 lbs in 10 days.
I can't remember.

Aruba girl?
Is she the one with bulimia simultaneously divorcing Nick Lachey and Kevin Federline while being pursued for questioning about cocaine in England?
I know for a fact she's blonde or we wouldn't be hearing about her.

OMG, Frowny's right - she IS a blonde!
I'm sure there are a lot of people still trying to find their loved ones after Katrina, but you'll never hear from them again.
