I still get moist over 80's comics.

09-12-06-whoswho.jpgYay!!!

DC announced they'll be collecting the 80's Who's Who in the Showcase Presents black and white trade paperback format!!!

My copies are so beat to shit that some of them barely qualify as bound books anymore.

Crisis on Infinite Earths negated 70% or more of the history included in this series while it was still being published but this to me was far superior to Marvel's version. The art was so superior and far more creative.

While I haven't cracked open a Who's Who in probably close to 15 or so years I can remember exact panels and artists.

Dave Stevens Golden Age Catwoman was a masterpiece of appropriateness. Jim Aparo's Huntress was kick ass. And Perez's early covers are bee-yoo-tee-ful!

If you page through the Who's Who series you'll see how Bruce Timm & company came up with many of the characters who eventually appeared in Justice League Unlimited.
