I ended up getting home very late today and with the sun going down early I wanted to get the rest of the magnolia leaves raked up.
Not only did I get the leaves done but some guy walked by and said he'd take all 13 huge 30-gallon bags of them. He's using them to keep his fig trees covered during the winter. I didn't even have to worry about the city having to take them.
Today was day 100 of working on the basement and unfortunately, all I did was get the sink plumbing back to operational capacity and the washer back on the pedestal and connected.
I bought a ton of plastic bins to store laundry detergents and such too. I really want to avoid liquid detergents getting spilled. Especially on the waterproofing.
Once the floor is done those kinds of hazards will be easy to clean up around there.
Before? The detergent soaked into the concrete.
Tomorrow will hopefully bring a good cleaning of the south part of the basement and moving everything tightly into the north part so I can prep the floor for painting and get the toilet back together and stuff. I need to work in the back yard for 2 hours or so too since I need to get everything put away for the season.
