Ugh! I haven't worked this long hour after hour for quite some time.
I started today with a couple of hours in the backyard cutting down all the dying vegetation, dumping flower pots, raking, taking down lawn furniture, and other general winter prep stuff.
I still have about 2 hours of work to do back there but I need to get some more leaf bags and a tarp. A good raking and some miscellaneous shit and the yard is ready for the winter.
I finished up back there an set to work on the basement and got all of the contents of the south room somewhat placed into the north room.
The floor cleaning and prep is going to be tedious and my knees are pretty much dead for the day.
I got a lot scraped up and all of the foil and tape up. I'm trying to clean out the cracks in the slab to fill them and drylock them.
I'm going to have to etch the slab to really clean it too. I've got the least-sounding annoying etcher too. Hopefully it won't be too bad and I can rinse it all right into the drain which is nearby. Pretty much my only option.
This part of the basement hasn't been this empty since I bought the house. Look how nice it looks too now that the walls have been redone.
A lot of shit has to be thrown out or given away. There's just no point keeping some of this shit that there has been absolutely no need for over the past few years. I've threw out 2 boxes of my shit today and am disposing of the one table (which has been broken) and all kinds of shit I've kept far too long.

You speak of winter as though it were something other than a word on the calendar. It sounds like you're implying that plants will die. What a horrible concept.

Quiet you! We don't need your southern California attitudes around these parts!
