Damn! Last week's comics delivered several moments of utter joy for me!

52 week 26
While on the whole 52 has been pretty lackluster in my book, I have to admit this single issue was one of the best things that has crossed my path in a long long long time.
Why?
The fucking return, Post-Crisis Post-Infinite Crisis of the SIVANA FAMILY!!!
Yes!!!
After 1985 and the many Captain Marvel reboots we never ever had a chance to see the insane family of Dr. Sivana and finally, after 21 years, they're back!
The premise that a short little bald mad scientist married a drop dead tall blond, who then had two kids, Magnificus and Beautia as beautiful as her and two ugly kids, Georgia and Junior, was just an insane thing of the Golden Age.
And The Black Adam Family grows by one member... Tawky Crocky!!!
Woohoo!!!
Screw the Luther storyline. Screw the space storyline. I'm all about the Adams here!
Justice League of America#3
Ok. Yeah. I'm sick of the main 3 (Supes, Bats, and WW) now 4 issues in and still going nowhere storywise.
However, I'm totally into this Red Tornado story and I haven't a clue why.
I guess I'm a sucker for this new series because it has the 70s "Satellite Era" vibe and that's what I grew up on.
Plus this issue had a decent Phantom Stranger moment just like the 70s era I remember. He pops in. Says a bit. And is gone.
That's my favorite way to have the Phantom Stranger make an appearance.
